On our first day back from our winter holiday, we eased into work mode with a birthday lunch for Abi. She turned 21 in early July, while we were all away. Those of you who appreciate a good burger will recognize Clarke’s Dining in the background. Lyndall and her team make a damn fine sundae (ahem, with our ice cream, ahem), but we focused on their main attraction, burgers. Yum.

It was also another sort of celebration, too. If you’ve been at any of our event stalls since February, visited our March pop up shop in Kalkbay, popped by St George’s Earthfair Market in town on a Thursday, or Neighbourgoods Market on a Saturday, you will remember Abi. After benefitting from her fierce scooping skills and dazzling smiles for the past couple months, we’ve decided to make it official: Abi’s joining our team, full time, in the newly created role of Assistant Junior Manager. Which basically means you’ll be seeing lots more of her around, at our office, on the phone, doing deliveries, and of course, scooping at markets and events.
