Job Title: Ice Cream Maker
What He Actually Does: Progress and Harmony together make up our kitchen team. They process fruit as it comes in from our farmer suppliers (washing, chopping, roasting, etc), make custard for our ice cream, make sweets mix-ins like citrus curd, chocolate brownies for ice cream sandwiches, candied nuts and lots more. They churn all the custard into ice cream, and handwrite labels for most of our containers. The Kitchen Team also work with Kate on developing new flavours and products on an ongoing basis. They also handle walk-in kitchen sales, so if you pop by our kitchen to pick up a pint, these are the guys you’re going to meet.
While all kitchen tasks are shared, Progress often is more often than not the citrus curd maker, ice cream sandwich maker, and our spice flavour developer.
