I had totally forgotten, but one of the eggs Celia delivered to us last week cracked in transit. She noticed, and told me she would be bringing me six extra to make up for it this week, as that is their cracked egg policy. To be honest, I have never received a cracked egg from her in the three years she’s supplied me, first in Stellenbosch and now here at The Creamery, so this was all new to me. Well, along with my order of 720 eggs this morning, came six extra, all by their lonesome, right on top, and they made me smile.
We really do work with such nice farmers.
