The fortnight in Photos

The best laid plans of bloggers… today we’ve got a fortnight in photos, not a week in photos, but all the more behind the scenes shenanigans to share with you.

STAFF

Marianne made a birthday cake for Harmony’s little girl; staff brought in jars to take advantage of the ridiculously low bring-your-own-jar prices of our new honey supplier, and Progress tried out the driver’s seat in a friend’s new car.

TOTALLY BESIDES THE POINT

We’ve been having some really pretty sunsets in Mowbray at the moment, with dramatic clouds and sepia light; we really like the Neighbourgoods’ new market poster; members of The Food Collective used our kitchen as a collection point for a delivery of cara cara orange trees and ruby grapefruits.

IN THE KITCHEN

We bought new mini chest freezers for a new collaboration we’re working on (more on that soon!); made a couple cornetto prototypes; played around with kumquats.

ON THE FLAVOUR FRONT

We managed to fit in some pretty successful flavour development, including: chocolate-seville marmalade, lemon cheesecake, chocolate-coffee.
