OK, we’re trying something new; an informal, behind-the-scenes glance at life at Creamery HQ, as frequently as we can manage it. Some of it has to do with ice cream, and lot of it does not, but we’re sharing it anyway. Let us know what you think!
We’re the lucky subject of a one minute short viral video (which we will show here on the blog when it’s ready), and we filmed some footage at Neighbourgoods last weekend for it. I was too busy scooping and fretting about my wayward fringe to take pics of the filming in action, but I did grab a couple pics of the fabulous Megan and Abi in action.
All our full time staff participated in an evening workshop on workplace professionalism and to brainstorm our new code of conduct. We rewarded their hard work with staff lunch the next day; salad and lasagne.
Marianne found a gigantic pleather banana rocking chair (replete with green velvet stem) on gumtree, and borrowed the Creamerymobile to pick it up. Best staff reason ever for popping out mid-afternoon: Gotta go see a man about a banana rocking chair. Everyone else was envious of this great buy. Here you can see Progress wistfully trying it out in the kitchen.
